Season’s Greetings to all NHHIMA members!
As the year winds down and we bundle up indoors to enjoy the festivities, the NHHIMA Executive Board wants to send warm wishes to you all for the holiday season. We hope this year has been fruitful for everyone, and we look forward to offering more quality programs in 2022.
On the subject of projects in the New Year… work on the proposed NH/VT CSA merger is ongoing, but due to some holiday season scheduling difficulties and new information that expands the scope and complexity of the project, we’ve pushed out the previous implementation target date of January 1st. We don’t yet have an updated target implementation date, but rest assured we’re still hard at work to ensure that the process is as smooth as possible. We very much appreciate everyone who took the time to fill out the survey and give their feedback on the proposal; your input will be critical for the Board as we plan how to structure a potential new CSA to ensure the most equitable and effective organization for our members. We’ve collected everyone’s answers and the Executive Board will be meeting very soon to discuss the questions and come to a consensus on our answers, so look out for that email in the coming weeks. We’re also still planning on having a town hall-style meeting so everyone can present their thoughts and questions on the topic first-hand.
We hope everyone has a warm and happy holiday season, and look forward to speaking with you more in the New Year!
