NHHIMA Mentoring Program
The NHHIMA Board members collectively have years of experience in a variety of healthcare settings, developing a vast amount of knowledge and a number of networking contacts throughout those years. Whether you are new to the Health Information Management (HIM) field or if you have been in the field awhile and want to learn more about NHHIMA and AHIMA you are encouraged and invited to actively seek the advice and experiential knowledge of our Board members.
Volunteerism is an important means to develop your network of HIM contacts. Partner with a Board member and offer your knowledge by participating on a committee such as Program and Education or learn about the roles of each Board member.
Consider being a candidate for a Board position now or when you have attained your AHIMA credentials. You are instrumental in leading the HIM profession into the future.
Contact information for each Board member is on our About Us – Executive Board section of the website. At the same location, you will also find the job descriptions for each Board position.
